Merchandising Manager

You are responsible for optimizing our customer offer by securing the right products, at the right time in the right place. You will be working in a dynamic and global environment, where teamwork and passion are key factors for our success. This is a one-year maternity cover and the position is based at Peak Performance HQ in Stockholm. You will be part of our Merchandising and Product Management team and report to Head of Merchandising.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Optimize the assortment per channel in line with company strategies to grow performance and profitability through strategic buy/demand input based on full price sales potential. 
• Support Assortment teams with data & insights on product performance and customer insights. 
• In collaboration with Product Management, Marketing & Operational Teams set, follow up and adjust the commercial plan and execution to always secure best customer offer. 
• Actively maximize and optimize our stock based on sales tendencies. 
• Set activation strategy, product selection and discount setting based on performance and inventory. 
• Influence allocation and replenishment to ensure optimal balance between selling and stock levels on all store segments. 
• Influence prices, quantities, income per month and assortment width in collaboration with Product Management and Demand Planning. 
• Collect feedback from and share product knowledge with stores, retail and ecom teams.

You have a natural curious mindset and at work you are constantly looking for possibilities to develop new growth and more efficient ways of working. You enjoy working strategically as well as working hands on analyzing numbers. You see patterns in our data, and you act and communicate with impact.

Job Requirements: 

• 3+ years of Merchandising experience 
• University Degree, preferably in Business, Economics or equivalent area 
• Strong analytical skills
• Sales driven and business minded with strong commercial awareness and salesmanship 
• Have a strategic mindset 
• Strong presentation and communication skills 
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
