PR & Communications Manager

Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a PR & Communications Manager due to parental leave. You will play a pivotal role in driving our clients retail communication and thought leadership initiatives. This role offers an exiting mix of written communication, PR strategy, and project management within a global environment. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, CX, and Retail teams to develop strategic communication plans and amplify our clients brand presence across various media channels. The role focuses on both auto- and lifestyle communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communications projects focusing on performance, design, and innovation.
• Develop creative concepts to amplify events and campaigns in our clients global retail Spaces, generating media reach.
• Craft compelling narratives that elevate thought leadership and strengthen the brand.
• Identify speaking opportunities and support our clients spokespeople with messaging and media preparations.
• Create Q&A, briefing documents, and press releases targeting non-automotive media groups.
• Coordinate media outreach with markets and agencies ahead of major releases.

Enhancing brand awareness, through increased engagement with non-automotive media, utilizing our clients Spaces as venues for thought leadership and lifestyle media coverage, is a big focus area.

Your expericence and personal strenghts:

• 3-7 years of experience as a PR Manager or Copywriter, with strong communication and project management skills.
• Excellent writing skills in English (native or near-native proficiency).
• Ability to network effectively with colleagues, external influencers, journalists, and industry organizations.
• Experience in coordinating projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Advantageous to have experience in international/global environments.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

You will report to the Head of Consumer & Brand Communications and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals within our clients Global PR & Communications department at HQ and in markets worldwide.

This is a consultancy assignment through Hammer & Hanborg by Jurek from mid-May until the end of March 2025. The position is based in Gothenburg.
