About the Role

In our continuous effort to elevate our tech platform and redefine the banking experience, we are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our expanding team. This role is critical as we aim to enhance our organizational resilience and ensure our cybersecurity strategies align with our business objectives.

As a CISO at Froda, you will:

• Lead and develop our cybersecurity policies and controls, ensuring the security and integrity of our data and systems.

• Drive the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to stay ahead of potential threats.

• Manage policy and compliance oversight, updating IT protocols in alignment with regulatory requirements and our OKR sprint schedules.

• Oversee third-party supplier assessments to ensure compliance with our security standards.

• Lead our business continuity management by conducting risk assessments and preparing recovery plans in collaboration with various business units.

• Collaborate with the Legal department to enhance our privacy management in adherence to GDPR and other regulations.

• Spearhead discussions and initiatives for obtaining ISO certifications and enhancing GDPR compliance efforts.

Who Are You?

• A proven track record of leading information security initiatives in a dynamic tech environment.

• Strong strategic and analytical skills to assess risks and implement effective cybersecurity measures.

• Excellent leadership skills with experience in policy development, team management, and cross-departmental collaboration.

• A commitment to fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.

• Proficiency in security practices, particularly information and IT security, along with GDPR knowledge. Experience with managing an information security management system and familiarity with international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001. Some knowledge of EBA/DORA is also desirable.

• Understand information management, including classification, risk analysis, IT architecture, technical infrastructure including cloud operations, proprietary software development, and open-source/third-party systems.

• Fluency in English and Swedish, essential for effective communication across all levels of the company.

• A university degree at master’s or bachelor's level in IT, information security, or a related field is required.
