We are looking for Data Engineer in Gothenburg to join the team to build, support and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to the processes through efficient management of cost and schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and Construct Data Pipelines: You'll be at the forefront of designing, constructing, and testing scalable data management systems and pipelines. Your expertise will ensure efficiency and peak performance from data extraction to loading.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions that drive business value.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering. Drive continuous improvement by integrating, consolidating, and cleansing data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Azure Databricks Expertise: Build complex data pipelines in Azure Databricks and optimize existing pipelines for efficiency.
- Security: Ensure data security across end-to-end solutions to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
- Proof-of-Concept Design: Design proof-of-concepts and industrialize solutions in Power BI to enable new insights.
- Competence Development: Continuously develop your skills, learn new tools, and adapt to evolving ways of working in the data engineering field.
Qualification:
- Education/Experience: MSc in Computer Science or relevant experience, with 5+ years of experience as a data engineer.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, strong understanding of SQL, experience with data orchestrators like Dagster or Airflow, familiarity with database management systems like Snowflake or Azure Data Lake, and expertise in data modeling and transformation using tools like dbt.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Cloud Platform Experience: Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, and familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Tools and Technologies: Comfortable with Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks), Power BI, maintaining Kimball data models, Azure functions, REST APIs, and ETL/ELT processes using tools like Informatica or Microsoft Integration Services.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in data management processes.
Meritorious:
- CI/CD and Kubernetes: Basic knowledge of CI/CD and understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
- AI and ML: Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
