Position Description

We are currently looking for an Information Security Analyst to join the ranks of Olink. We are currently building our global security department and you will be one of the first members coming in and reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer. The main responsibilities of the department will be to uphold the Information Security Management System, drive the information security strategy, oversee, and maintain the risk management framework, lead, and develop the security incident management process, train and support the business and IT within in security awareness, manage compliance in relations to security and manage third-party risk program.

As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization in securing Olink operations and minimize business risk through your knowledge and expertise within information security incident management. Main focus areas are maintaining and developing technical security controls within the company. Development and maintenance of incident response procedures, following up and monitoring security events, training staff and IT in security practices, working closely to the IT / technical team supporting security best practice configurations and control settings. As a small and dynamic security team you will have to manage and be willing to take part in all aspects required to develop and uphold an information security management system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining incident response procedures.
• Acting as security incident manager during security incident investigations.
• Supporting in assessment of deployment of new technology and software solutions.
• Supporting security audits and assessing compliance with security policies.
• Supporting the business continuity planning and IT disaster planning processes.
• Assessing technical controls in applications, services and infrastructure.
• Support the business and IT to identify, analyze, and mitigate information security risks and threats to the organization.
• Support vendor assessment and monitoring of third parties.
• Support the security awareness training program.
• Performs cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Support penetrations testing and related security testing.
• Supporting business and IT with security knowledge and know-how.

Qualifications/Skills

• 4+ years of Information Security experience.
• Ethical hacker, CISSP, or other relevant technical security certification.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related fields.
• Strong technical background from IT and Security.
• Experience from Security operations (SOC).
• Vulnerability management and security monitoring.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with security incident procedures.
• A strong understanding of security tools, technologies, and configurations.
• Experience in cyber risk assessment.
• Fluency in English.
• Any Swedish skills are looked at favorably but not strictly required.

Finally, you should have solid communication skills, understand that your job is to support the business and be comfortable interacting with a varied set of stakeholders.

Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with relocation for this role. You should already be located in the Uppsala or Stockholm region and be willing and able to attend our HQ in Uppsala on a weekly basis. We typically work 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.
