Job Description - Product Manager

Meela is a VC-backed mental health startup on a mission to help millions of people find their best-fit psychologist. Today, because people are not matched to a psychologist, 50% of people will drop out of therapy early (because they didn’t match with their psychologist. Both co-founders have personally been there themselves (having to test multiple psychologists before they found one that matched) which is why they started Meela.

Since its launch in March 2023, Meela has helped over 20,000 people find their best-fit therapist and has been named one of Europe’s hottest startups. The female founder duo was on Draknästet and Meela’s CEO was named Female Founder of the Year. In our opinion, we believe it should be as natural and easy to go to therapy and get help from a therapist, as it is to go to the gym and get help from a personal trainer.

ROLE

Specifically, you will be the Product Manager for our therapist-patient matching product, therapists platform, and developing other products for patients and therapists.

As a member of the Meela product team, you will lead on:

  • Metrics and KPIs: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and monitor them regularly.
  • Cross-Functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to ensure smooth product development, launch, and ongoing management. We are a small team, but it’s important you know how to work with multiple teams.
  • Agile development: Work closely with development teams using agile methodologies to iterate on the product, respond to changes quickly, and deliver features in a timely manner.
  • Market analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Feedback loop: Establish a feedback loop with customers to collect their feedback, understand their pain points, and include their insights into the product development process.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and challenges early on, develop contingency plans, and make data-driven decisions to mitigate risks and ensure the product's success.

WHO YOU ARE
