The service platform brings together those in need of car transportation and freelance drivers who perform the transfers by driving. Our auto transportation service is primarily used by car dealerships, car rental companies and service centers, for whom Biila moves any car on average within 29 hours. The platform provides access to a network of approximately 1900 active freelance drivers. In 2023, approximately 90,000 cars were transferred through Biila. n nOur goal is to become the leading provider of car transportation services in the Nordic countries by 2025. If you're ready to make your mark and lead a team dedicated to crafting exceptional user experiences, we invite you to join us! n n Your responsibilities n n*Setting the design vision and UX strategy of Biila n*Mentoring and coaching the team members on design thinking and problem-solving n*Maintaining a positive user experience and understanding how this impacts the overall customer experience n*Setting and documenting cohesive design principles and standards while ensuring the team applies these correctly and delivers their best in alignment with the platform and business goals n*Implementing and maintaining necessary processes for scaling, maintaining and managing our design system n*Conducting user research, participating in customer conversations and leading research activities n*Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data that are important to your product area and objectives n*Designing flows and experiences that are simple and elegant n*Leading your own design team and hiring design talents that align with our vision n n n We expect you to have n n*Fluency in English, as well as either Finnish or Swedish n*Possibility to work according to the time zones of UTC +2 or UTC +3 n*Equal proficiency in analytics and creativity, with the ability to balance strategic insights with innovative solutions n*Experience in creating platform-oriented user experiences, collaborating closely with the developers and customers n*The ability to solve complex design problems and create frameworks from these solutions, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills n*Strong, confident communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels n*Experience of conducting user research, participating in customer conversations and leading research activities n*Proficiency in running usability & accessibility tests, ensuring that our products are inclusive and user-friendly n*Expertise in visual design and interaction, with a solid understanding of design principles n*Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability n*Skills in rapid prototyping, bringing ideas to life efficiently n*Proficiency in Figma for designing user interfaces and prototyping, leveraging the latest tools for optimal results n n n Why join us? n n*Key role in a growing team n*Working culture reflecting our values: courage, openness, collaboration and good vibes.
