Translation QA Manager

About the Role

Their team develops and engineers digital products that simplify and enhance the experience of clinical trials.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Create and improve quality checks for translation projects, including checking language, managing terms, and ensuring guidelines are followed
• Build and maintain databases for words and terms to help with translation and product development
• Work with experts and team members to ensure terms are consistent and clear
• Update and adjust guidelines to fit different languages and cultures
• Use and manage tools that track past translations to make new translations better and faster
• Guide and support companies that handle translations
• Regularly check the quality of translations, provide feedback, and suggest improvements
• Be the main point of contact for any issues with translation quality, working with both the team and outside companies to fix problems
• Enjoy working quickly and efficiently, and play an active role in meetings with different teams
  

Your profile

• Expertise in terminology management tools and systems
• Strong skills in using translation tools and technologies
• Ability to handle stakeholder management, solve conflicts, and manage deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team
• Passionate about working in a dynamic environment and able to adapt to fast-paced changes
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation, languages, or a related field
• Proven experience in translation quality assurance, linguistic review, and language technology
• Fluent in English
