Material Innovation Internship

We are now looking for a curious & self-driven material innovation intern to join us in our Malmö studio throughout 2025. Generally, we offer internship start dates around February & August, but are equally open to accommodating individual setups. For the best experience on both sides, and to really get to know each other, we prefer an internship duration of 6 months. This is a great opportunity for you to develop your skills and get to know more about agency life!

You will get the opportunity to work with our multi-disciplinary material innovation & sustainability team as we advance our sustainability agenda. The ideal candidate brings in a multi-faceted skillset to collaborate on both external client projects & internal competence development as we further push into material innovation as the next big frontier in progressive, sustainable product development.

One of our core philosophies is that we believe in bringing design and technology together from the very beginning, breaking down boundaries between the physical and the digital, while fusing hardware & software into meaningful product experiences.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge of sustainability principles, materials & manufacturing processes


• Hands-on approach to material development & creative experimentation


• Familiarity and ability to prototype in a broad range of materials, such as plastics, textiles & fabrics, biocomposites, and natural fiber materials


• A humble, self-driven, and optimistic attitude while navigating ambiguity


• Ability to conceptualize novel material experiences & stories


• Contemporary aesthetics and visual sensibility for colors, materials & finishes


• Preferably command of data-driven impact assessment tools (LCAs, material matrices, etc.) and understanding of technical material properties

We're open to receiving applications from candidates with backgrounds and experience in industrial design, CMF, materials engineering, textile design, sustainability, and adjacent fields to complement our creative team as we imagine, prototype, and implement new material experiences.
