Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Mojang Studios is seeking a talented and motivated Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level Accountant working remotely from Sollentuna, Stockholms Län, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries - Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial guidance and support

Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - 4 years of experience in accounting roles - Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Driven and hardworking personality traits - Strong planning and creativity soft skills
