Accountant

Job Description:

Sandvik is seeking a dedicated and motivated Accountant to join our team in Stockholm, SE. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining accounting controls, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities: - Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles - Prepare budget forecasts and financial reports - Analyze financial information and summarize financial status - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information - Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents - Develop and maintain financial databases - Monitor and develop internal controls - Analyze and reconcile financial discrepancies - Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field - Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with financial reporting and analysis - CPA certification is a plus
