Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Bambuser is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Accountant to join our team in Malmö, Skåne Län, SE. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field. As a Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations - Assist with audits and tax preparations - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management - Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or similar certification preferred - Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) - Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Creative problem-solving skills
