Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Polestar is seeking a reliable and passionate Remote Accountant to join our team in Sollentuna, Stockholms Län, SE. As a part-time Associate Level Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities: - Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations - Prepare financial statements and reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Monitor cash flow and financial performance - Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations - Assist with audits and tax filings - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management - Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA certification is a plus - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Excellent decision-making and time management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively in a remote setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
