Operations Manager - Work from home

Job Description:

Sandvik, a leading global provider of equipment, tools, services, and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries, is seeking a motivated and resourceful Operations Manager to join our team. This is a part-time, work from home position based in Göteborg, Västra Götalands Län, SE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. 2. Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products and services. 3. Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate operational performance. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and streamline operations. 5. Identify and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely manner. 6. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of remote employees. 7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. 8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2. Proven track record of at least 8 years in operations management. 3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 5. Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and resources. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
