Job Description:
As a Customer Care Associate at IKEA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued customers. You will serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by exceeding their expectations and building strong relationships with them.
Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner, escalating as needed. 3. Assist customers with product selection, availability, and pricing information. 4. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. 5. Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to customers. 6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. 7. Maintain accurate customer records and files. 8. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, policies, and procedures. 9. Provide feedback to management on customer trends and issues.
Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. 2. Minimum of 4 years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 5. Excellent time management and organizational skills. 6. Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and responsibilities. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 8. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 9. Knowledge of IKEA products and services is a plus.
