Job Description - Customer Support Assistant

The Customer Support Assistant at Shopify will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to Shopify merchants through various channels such as email, phone, and live chat. They will assist customers with inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions to problems in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be confident, passionate about helping others, and possess strong communication skills.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally - Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions - Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer concerns - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Assist in training new customer support team members - Contribute to improving processes and procedures within the customer support department - Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals


Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of customer support experience - Confidence and passion for helping customers - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong cooperation skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Effective time management and organizational skills - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
