Interim – Medical Director

The consultant is expected to be an individual with expertise within oncological clinical development, and preferably also knowledgeable regarding radiopharmaceuticals. The focus of the assignment will be to support and provide sponsor medical oversight to an ongoing first-in-human clinical trial of a new innovative radiopharmaceutical compound, including sponsor drug safety responsibilities. The assignment will also entail provision of medical and development expertise to the ongoing and planned development programs.

The Consultant Medical Director will be a key member of relevant Project and Clinical Trial Teams and actively interact with the Medical Monitor at the CRO conducting the ongoing trial.

Start: September 2025

Duration: 6-12 months

Scope: 50%

Placement: Stockholm

Work experience/Qualifications:

• Proven track record of working in small start-ups and biotech companies, as well as large pharma.


• Medical Doctor/Physician with substantial experience in oncology and pharmaceutical drug development.


• Experience from all phases of development, and particularly from first-in human trials.


• Experience in development of biologicals is a plus.


• Ability to write, read, adequately interpret, condense and present scientific data and medical literature.


• Experience in working in project teams, including external parties, and KOLs, delivering results timely.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
