We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Administration Team based in Lincoln. This post provides an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team based in a successful academic unit within the School of Medicine. We are a small, friendly supportive team that supports both community based student GP placements across the Lincolnshire region and University of Lincoln based Primary Care teaching delivery.
Working as part of the placements team you will provide a high level of administrative support to the University of Lincoln academic team and help maintain good links with the community based GPs. You will be responsible for the administration of Primary Care senior placements module delivery and student placement activity in GP practices across the Lincolnshire region. In addition to this you will support our quality assurance programme and provide administrative support for our Community Clinical sub dean to ensure smooth running of the recruitment and retention processes currently in place.
The post will require flexibility, proactivity and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be required to be thorough and meticulous in your approach to tasks in order to deliver a high quality professional service to students and staff. Excellent IT skills, including all aspects of Microsoft applications are a requirement.

The post will be offered on a permanent, part-time (29 hours per week) contract. Currently, Lincoln Medical School (LMS) teaches students who are registered at the University of Nottingham, which is also responsible for accreditation of the degree through the General Medical Council (GMC). Potential applicants should be aware the intention is that LMS will eventually become independent and this role will transfer to the University of Lincoln at a future date.
