Job Description - Events & Communications Manager

Events & Communications Manager



We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join us as Events & Communications Manager. This role is tailored for a hands-on team player with a supportive attitude and the charisma to connect with employees at all levels.  


With a dual reporting line to the Head People & Development and the Head of Communications, you will work on the following key tasks.



Key tasks:


1. Events



  • Plan and organise corporate and social events with a focus on enhancing employee engagement and fostering a strong corporate culture across offices

  • Provide support to regional offices or department heads in event/offsites planning and execution, as needed

  • Support various external events



2. Communication



  • Prepare and coordinate internal communications content to keep employees informed and engaged

  • Organise and schedule speakers for internal meetings and calls

  • Manage and oversee communication resources within the intranet or similar platforms

  • Support external digital communication efforts, including newsletters, website management, and social media



3. Administrative support



  • Provide general support for office management and administrative tasks, as required

  • Coordinate reporting and communication needs with relevant teams, as required

  • Provide administrative support for the Senior Management



Required skills 



  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in hospitality, communications, or a related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Canva would be a plus

  • Proficiency in English, German or French would be a plus

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities 

  • Proactive and result-driven, with a flexible, "hands-on" approach and a commitment to assisting team members

  • Strong work ethic, positive energy, and a willingness to learn and grow

  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing tasks, with high attention to detail
