Senior SAP QM Solution Architect (LIMS & Quality Automation)

For our client in the Basel region, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Senior SAP QM Solution Architect (LIMS & Quality Automation).

As part of a strategic digital transformation initiative, you will play a key role in shaping the future of quality assurance. In this position, you will design and develop innovative end-to-end processes for the automated handling of laboratory testing and quality certificates within the SAP environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyze existing quality management and laboratory processes and define future-state processes for automated inspection lot and certificate handling
• Develop a comprehensive business and IT blueprint for the integration of SAP QM with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and external testing laboratories
• Design automated processes for the receipt, validation and assignment of digital quality certificates (Certificates of Analysis / CoA) to SAP inspection lots
• Create functional and technical specifications for interfaces based on APIs, EDI, IDocs and Web Services
• Prepare and support the implementation phase, including SAP QM customizing, development support, integration testing and user acceptance testing
• Plan and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, laboratory partners and IT teams in an international environment
• Advise project leadership and key stakeholders on solution architecture, process design and SAP QM best practices
• Ensure a sustainable, scalable and future-proof solution architecture for digital quality assurance

Your profile:

• Several years of experience as a Senior SAP QM Consultant, Solution Architect or in a similar role with strong SAP QM expertise
• In-depth knowledge of quality inspection processes, inspection lot management, quality certificates and usage decision processes
• Proven experience in the design and implementation of integrations between SAP QM and LIMS systems or external testing laboratories
• Hands-on experience with the automation of quality certificates (CoA), including receipt, validation and automated processing within SAP
• Strong track record in developing business concepts, IT concepts, blueprints and requirements specifications in SAP environments
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach
• Experience in workshop facilitation, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, German is an advantage
