Accountant

Job Description:

Anthem is seeking a confident and motivated Accountant to join our team in Bern, Kanton Bern, CH. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial tasks to support the company's operations and growth. This is a full-time position with a minimum requirement of 2 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports - Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support strategic decision-making - Collaborate with colleagues worldwide on financial projects and initiatives - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial information within the company's systems - Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to project management activities - Assist with audits and ensure all financial records are in order - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance - CPA certification is a plus - 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment - Strategic planning and project management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
