Accountant

Job Description:

Citizens Financial Group is seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Basel, Kanton Basel Landschaft, Switzerland. As an Associate level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This full-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable - Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Participate in financial audits - Provide support for tax preparation - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field - CPA certification preferred - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Energetic and confident personality - Excellent emotional intelligence and ability to work in a team environment
