Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Bystronic Laser AG is seeking a reliable and hardworking Accountant to join our team on a full-time, work-from-home basis in Bern, Kanton Bern, CH. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial tasks for the company and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Responsibilities: - Manage all accounting transactions for the company - Prepare budget forecasts and financial reports - Process invoices, track expenses, and prepare financial statements - Perform month-end and year-end closing activities - Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable - Support the financial audit process and provide necessary documentation - Assist in financial analysis and decision-making processes - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity - Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting - Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance - Excellent negotiation and adaptability skills - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - CPA certification is a plus
