Job Description:
Cablevision Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Bern, Kanton Bern, Switzerland. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the company's receivables, ensuring timely payment collection, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: - Generate and send invoices to clients - Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments - Reconcile accounts receivable ledger - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues - Communicate with clients regarding payment status and collection efforts - Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable - Assist in month-end and year-end close processes - Collaborate with other departments to improve billing and collection processes - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding billing and collections - Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities - Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities - Innovative mindset to improve processes and systems
