Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

American Financial Group is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Associate in Basel, Kanton Basel Landschaft, CH. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and possess strong planning and leadership skills.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner - Reconcile accounts receivable on a regular basis - Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies - Process and post payments to customer accounts - Assist with month-end close procedures related to accounts receivable - Generate financial reports and analysis upon request - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to accounts receivable - Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries and issues

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable - Strong planning and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
