Remote Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

United States Steel is seeking a Remote Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Lausanne, Vaud, CH. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and be driven and dedicated to their work. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and working closely with our sales team to ensure timely payments.

Responsibilities: - Manage customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies - Process invoices and credit memos for customers - Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due accounts - Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting - Work closely with the sales team to resolve customer inquiries and disputes - Participate in team meetings and share best practices for improving accounts receivable processes - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and drive efficiency - Make decisions on credit limits and terms for customers based on creditworthiness

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance - At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong decision-making skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Remote work experience is a plus
