Job Description - Business Developer

Company Description : Our client, a dynamic geospatial startup, is at the forefront of innovation in the Remote Sensing & Big Datas. Dedicated to revolutionizing the utilization of geospatial data for actionable insights, they are seeking a versatile Business Developer to expand their market presence. Workload : 100% Location : Bern (flexible HO with some days at the office). Responsibilities : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Remote Sensing, Big Data, Consumer Data, Urban Planning, Public Administration, and B2B sectors. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private enterprises, and industry partners. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop tailored strategies and campaigns to promote our solutions. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for growth. Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals. Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to geospatial data. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand the company's network. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the management team. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Geospatial Sciences, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Must have : experience within the geospatial sector. Strong understanding of Remote Sensing, Big Data analytics, and their applications in various industries. Fluent in English, with proficiency in German considered a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events. The ideal candidate will thrive in a startup environment, where adaptability and the ability to navigate an unstructured company setting are essential for success. LI-Hybrid
