compliance specialist

Mission: Ensure compliance of new and existing clients in the Emerging Markets & Eastern Europe region with relevant laws, regulations (AML, CDB, FATCA, CRS), and internal usual standards.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Compliance High Risk and complex cases in Private Banking.
• Conduct checks for account openings to mitigate AML, legal, or reputational risks.
• Prepare and submit cases to relevant Bank Committees.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes affecting customer service and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with local and Swiss laws and internal guidelines for account opening and modifications.
• Participate in Compliance Projects as needed.
• Collaborate with other Bank departments and Compliance teams.
• Provide guidance and support to Front Office.
• Perform any other tasks related to the mission as assigned by Management.

Competencies:

• Min. 5 years of similar experience in Emerging Markets and Eastern Europe.
• University degree or Certification in Compliance Management.
• Proficiency in English, French and Russian .
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with analytical and pragmatic approach.
• Delivery oriented and discreet.
