Job Description - International Merchandising Operations Associate

Position Overview

Responsible for Buy & Planning Process for the Brand/Category assigned.

In market stock availability control. Monitor Assortment and updates.

Provide analytical, maintain reports, measures KPIs to ensure seamless processes, business monitoring and customized analyses.

Partner with Sourcing, Merchandising & Planning, Sales, Customer Service to leverage flow of product from Global Manufacturing into the Distribution Center.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Line management

  • Follow line list from merchandising, to reflect product changes, and maintain products attributes in a timely manner

Cost management

  • Update, track and control any cost variation and provide costs analysis

Procurement Management

  • Review of buy & procurement plan for each season in alignment with seasonal buy strategy. Risks analysis and preparation of buy simulations
  • Buy process follow-up & PO issuing – reconciliation with Global Manufacturing /sourcing department

Sales and Inventory management

  • Control & management of the demand-supply match (Inventory and Line management during market)

Deliveries tracking and inbound

  • Analyze and manage the stock delivery reports, follow delivery slides
  • KPIs tracking
  • Take initiatives to improve current processes and systems to gain efficiency and obtain best results
  • Work towards reaching inventory target levels while maximizing sales opportunities
  • Execute daily market supply-demand tracking and implement agreed actions
  • Provide expert analysis to ensure optimized supply plan to reach order fulfilment targets
  • Work towards improving customers’ delivery demands
  • Prepare presentational material
  • Back up and support other IMO team members in other brands/categories

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Master Degree in Supply Chain & Inventory Management or equivalent experience
  • High degree of computer literacy, especially MS Excel (V-lookups, formulas, pivot tables), Power Point (presentation),  SAP are a plus
  • Good analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in reading, speaking and writing in English. Other languages a plus. Ability to lead discussions
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and cope with change in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • T hink and respond quickly adjusting schedules and plans in response to unplanned events
  • Solve business issues and to make decision sometimes with limited data
  • Efficient time management, organizational ability and capacity to meet deadlines
  • Flexible mind-set, team player
  • Attention to detail & work accuracy
  • Ability to cope with change in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment under little supervision. Maintain confidentiality and discretion
