Job Description - IT Support Analyst

The position

As an IT Support Analyst, you will report directly to the EMEA North IT Operations manager, responsible for providing exceptional onsite IT support and services to all users from the IO-SO Office and the Zurich Affiliate office. This includes providing technical assistance to executive team members and fulfilling all assigned IT tasks. Your role on the Local Onsite IT support team involves maintaining smooth daily IT operations at the site. Adhering to Global IT Operations protocols is paramount, ensuring compliance and actively seeking opportunities for enhancement whenever possible. Customer focus and service are vital aspects of this role.

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Execute assigned tickets, analyze, liaise with incident managers & service providers to resolve issues, and manage problems within agreed timeframes, escalating issues requiring special attention.
  • Assist with the support and management of IT Equipment resources including Meeting rooms and Audio-Visual equipment.
  • Support the distribution & translation of local communication on IT support topics.
  • Collaborate and engage with LoB (Line-of-Business) on GITO IT (Global IT Operations) related matters.
  • Ensure new employee onboarding and user training on relevant IT tools.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Degree in IT/Computer Science or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT support related experience
  • Good technical knowledge in Microsoft, Windows 10, Office 365 environment, hardware, infrastructure, and iOS devices
  • Appropriate service management program (ITIL foundation certification)
  • Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow
  • Experience working in an international environment is an asset
  • Experience with Audio-Visual equipment is an advantage
  • Fluent in oral and written English language, German language proficiency is an asset
