Under the responsibility of the Commercial Director, the primary function is the responsibility for pricing and assisting with the tender pricing as part of the presales process, quotation, tender support. Further, this role is support to operations.

Pricing Desk Air and Ocean

Responsibilities:

• Investigation and determination of the most cost effective and time-relevant method for Air, Ocean, and Road transports.
• Achieve a required result for customs and company.
• Maintain a professional level of communication with existing and new customers.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and the network.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of the company organizational development plan, theories, and implementation procedures.
• Maintain statistical data, CRM and other tools and prepare reports accordingly.
• Compliance with company policies and procedures
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent organization skills with attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Clear, confident, and professional communication skills
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Track record of any customer services, sales support type of role in freight forwarding would be an advantage.
• Fluent in English and French (German is a plus)
