Job Description - Online Customer Service Associate

Job Description:


As an Online Customer Service Associate at J.C. Penney, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our online customers. Your responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner, processing returns and exchanges, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction.


Key Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance via phone, email, and chat - Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner - Process returns and exchanges according to company policies - Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers - Identify and report any trends or issues impacting customer satisfaction - Provide feedback to management on ways to improve the customer experience


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service - Excellent communication skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to research and gather relevant information to assist customers - Reliable and adaptable to changing circumstances - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment - Experience working in an online customer service role is a plus
