Job Description
Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

 

Reports to: Test Engineering Manager

Objective of the role: Implement In-Circuit Test (ICT), Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and In-System Programming (ISP) test programs for our PCBAs

 

Education and work experience:

• BSc/MSc degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar education
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in test development for PCBA
• Good knowledge in power electronics, analog, digital and mixed signal electronics

Professional expertise:

• Strong experience in programming In-Circuit Test (ICT), Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and In-System Programming (ISP) on automated test platforms such as Teradyne TestStation, Keysight Medalist i3070 or PXI based test systems
• Strong experience in digital programming
• Good experience and knowhow in programming in C/C++ and LabView/TestStand
• Experience in testing automotive certified PCBAs and knowledgeable in the automotive requirements (VDA, IATF) would be an advantage
• Experience and knowhow in programming in Python/R would be an advantage
• Knowledge in PCB Design (Altium Designer) would be an advantage

  Main Responsibilities:

• Implement In-Circuit Test (ICT), Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and In-System Programming (ISP) test programs for our PCBAs on Teradyne TestStation test systems
• Drive Design for Testability (DFT) reviews
• Design the hardware of the test systems (jigs, fixtures, loadboards, wiring, mechanics)
• Commission and release the test solutions at the subcontractors
• Solve production issues and troubleshoot the test software and hardware at the subcontractors

 

General Responsibilities:

• Document the test programs and processes (test specifications, release procedures, working instructions)
• Drive continuous improvement of the test programs and processes in production
• Analyze the test data and create comprehensive reports
• Work in a cross-functional team (Quality, R&D and Production) during New Product Development and New Product Introduction phases
