Light Chain Bioscience (LCB), a brand of Novimmune SA, is a drug discovery and development company located in Geneva, Switzerland, that focuses on developing bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) for the treatment of cancer and other indications, based on its proprietary kl-bodyä platform. LCB’s current pipeline consists of several programs at various stages of development ().

Light Chain Bioscience is currently seeking a Research Assistant for a 6-month maternity leave replacement contract , to focus on the design and conduction of a variety of in vitro assays in Pharmacology.

Research assistant in Pharmacology

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate in vitro data to understand the pharmacology/mechanism of action of antibodies using cell-based assays such as ADCC, ADCP and T cell retargeting assays
• Isolate primary immune cells from human samples (e.g. buffy coat)
• Cell culture maintenance and characterization of protein expression profiles
• Support the general lab activities including: daily lab maintenance activities including lab stock, routine equipment maintenance, data recording in an electronic laboratory notebook

Skills and competencies:

• Successfully completed apprenticeship or Bachelor studies in the field of biological Sciences. Good understanding of in vitro assay development and a variety of assay technologies (e.g. cytometry, ELISA, MSD, microscopy)
• Motivation and will to learn are key
• Detail oriented and well-organized
• Ability to work both independently and in an interdisciplinary team with spirit of initiative and proactivity.
• Fluency in French and ability to work in English is required
• Experienced user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Graphpad Prism software or any equivalent.
• A background in immunology and/or immuno-oncology would be an advantage
