Warehouse & Distribution Operator

Summary

TEMPORARY POSITION FOR 24 MONTHS We are seeking a Warehouse and Distribution Operator to perform all warehouse and distribution activities in compliance with the regulatory guidelines, SOP’s and other internal regulations. This role will work directly with the Distribution & Strategic Vendor Management team and reports to the Team Head Warehouse & Distribution.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Performing all warehouse and distribution activities in compliance with requirements and the corresponding procedures.

Performing cleaning of workplace.

Performing GMP compliant documentation of the executed activities in electronic system (SAPs) and on paper-based documentation.

Informing Manager or deputy about quality event i.e. Deviation.

Describing the processes and answering questions regarding the assigned area of responsibility during internal/external inspections.

Meeting quantity, quality and timelines of all assigned tasks.

Collecting data for KPIs in affected area.

Essential Requirements:

• 1 year of practical experience in chemical /pharmaceutical industry or 1 year of experience infield of expertise.

• Apprenticeship or formal education in a logistical, technical or related business area.

• Basic organization skills.

• Knowledge of Novartis HSE/GMP standards and processes.

• Basic problem-solving skills.

• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a team
