Corporate Information Security Coordinator

Right now, we are looking for a Corporate Information Security Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our team at KNIME in Zurich on a part-time basis. You can also be working remotely, although regular visits to the Konstanz office are a requirement then.*

Who you are

We are seeking candidates with a few years' experience in roles such as Internal Audit, Audit firms, IT or similar positions related to information security. Experience in Legal and Compliance, IT, or Information Security is also valuable, preferably in a software or SaaS company. Fluency in English is a must, with proficiency in German being highly desirable. You are analytical, a team player, an excellent communicator and enjoy working across different teams and countries.

That's the job

You will be the primary point of contact for all matters related to information security and ISMS/ISO/SOC2. Both within KNIME and externally, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and best practices.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing change and project management within the ISMS framework, leading scope extensions for ISO and SOC2 certifications, managing re-certification processes, and conducting internal reviews such as risk and management assessments, along with reviews of processes and guidelines.
You'll take care of ensuring that our annual ISMS schedule is being followed and documented, which involves conducting risk and management reviews, evaluating process performance, and more. It will be essential to keep the documentation up to date in collaboration with the respective functional owners as well as the internal and external publications related to ISMS/ISO/SOC2, ensuring they reflect current best practices. Additionally, you'll develop, implement, and update training materials as needed. 
Furthermore, you may oversee our internal processes and review them to strengthen our information security in all aspects. You could potentially take on the role of an Information Security Officer.
