Lucerne.

Global Tax Manager
The Global Tax Manager will support all global aspects of taxation including ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, implementing effective tax planning strategies, managing audits, and accurately reporting financial information related to taxes. The role will be based out of our Lucerne, Switzerland office
Key Responsibilities:
- Use Performance Development System (PDS) to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution.
- Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes.
- Support the widespread use of PDS and support company culture within the organization.
- Development of local audit resources. Support GCOE local tax resources for audit purposes.
- Support and/or manage direct and indirect tax audits.
- Review and file VAT declarations for Europe and rest of world reporting.
- Organize and lead periodic review of local business operations (e.g., committee meetings, functional reports, etc.
- Manage local ETR and cash tax as well as above the line local and global incentives.
- Support in preparation of legal entity profitability and transfer pricing documentation.
- Provide visibility to TP function into GCOE and European principal functionality.
- Global minimum tax compliance and reporting.
- Prepare internal reports for tax and finance departments.
- Assist in managing US GAAP and statutory audit on tax related matters.
- Manage preparation of corporate tax returns for Switzerland and rest of Europe (e.g., France, UK, Ireland).
- Manage local and support international tax planning and transactions.
- Provide support on projects when tax perspective required.
- Aid in the continuation of strategic corporate synergies at the COE.
- Assist on projects for rest of world as needed.
- Manage calculation of tax provisions, adjustments and payments.
- Assist in the management of controls and procedures for US tax compliance.
- Development and implementation of local compliance standards.
- Utilize Career Development System (CDS) to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company.
- Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years relevant experience (minimum)
- Strong understanding of international tax process improvements.
- Advanced financial analysis skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
- Comfortable with change in a fast moving environment.
- Experience with foreign tax credit planning

- Ability to travel (up to 25%)
- The position requires the individual to work out of our Lucerne, Switzerland office
Salary:
- Placement in accordance with the salary range is calculated based upon years of directly relatable experience for the position.
