You will be responsible of the analysis, design, enhancements of our commercial systems (consumer database solutions, retailer apps, digital platforms). Utilizing the correct governance and serving as intermediary with global PMI Information Technology teams, to help PMI employees achieve their business objectives. - Architecture Oversight: Provide architectural guidance to project teams. Monitor and guide the development process alongside the technical architect, to align with architectural standards and best practices.
- Business and IT strategy : Stay aligned with IT strategy in order to drive solutions toward standardization, system rationalization, cost efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technology risks and devise mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure design consistency and quality across different components of the architecture.
- Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes. Proactively monitoring of eventual issues, identifying potential improvements.
- Team support and Guidance: Provide technical support, mentorship, and guidance to development teams, IT Leads and others.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all architectural solutions adhere to compliance and security standards set by the organization (policies, guidelines, SOX, privacy etc.) in order to minimize risks regarding confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
- Engagement: Communicate with project leads and others to gather requirements, communicate progress on solution designs, and address concerns.
- Resolve complex project related issues by analyzing, identifying and facilitating the emergence of solutions leading to optimal resolution.
- Ensure development and distribution of quality project-related documentation to all interested parties. - *Specific- Technical Specification Development: Create Technical Requirements for our SFP products ts based on business requirements.
- This includes aligning with IT Leads and Digital team to make sure the business requirements are created and updated.
- Presenting technical requirements to development team and supporting the team and integration indefinitely.
- Solution Design and Documentation: Develop solution designs and maintain documentation. This includes:
- Designing scalable solutions using microservices approach.
- Ensuring solutions support fast development, easy maintenance, scalability, and reliability.
- Documenting high-level overviews, architecture components, business logic, and validation rules. - Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with the technical architect and developers to clarify requirements and reach optimal solutions. - *Who we’re looking for - Education and Certification : An analytical mind team player with bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Track record of at least 5 years of relevant experience various software designs, languages and architecture.
- Background in programming/coding and proficiency in database design is crucial
- Analytic skills to assess integrations at code and database level is part is an asset
- Knowledgeable about all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems
- Sound understanding of current and future Technology capability
- Excellent digital skills, combined with knowledge on system architectures (Micro services, APIs etc)
- Experience in data analytics and transactional sales systems is an asset
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Ability to connect strategy to execution, assess current state and support execution of transformation plans. - *Preferred Requirement(s):
- Advanced partner management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Shown ability to influence across the organization, optimally leading change, originating ideas, and encouraging and gaining commitment
- Advanced knowledge on AWS, Microservices, DevOps, RESTful APIs, Microsoft Azure is essential.
- Extended knowledge on e-commerce software such as: Demandware, Hybris, Salesforce (SFDC + SFMC), Mulesoft.
