Job Description - Market Risk Analyst

Our client is a commodity trading company

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze financial markets to forecast trends and assess risk exposures.
Develop risk management models and strategies to mitigate potential losses.
Generate regular risk reports and dashboards for management review.
Liaise with trading and finance teams to align risk strategies with business objectives.
Monitor and comply with regulatory requirements affecting market risk practices.
Continuously improve risk assessment tools and methodologies through technology.

Profile :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in market risk analysis or financial services.
Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and financial modeling tools like Excel or R.
Excellent communication skills for reporting and advising senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards.
