Main responsibilities:

• Utilize their tools to expand reference implementations.
• Implement client-specific solutions using their products.
• Support business development activities.
• Communicate the product owner's and clients' visions to the development team, creating clear stories and tasks.
• Develop their actuarial kernel in TypeScript.
• Stay current with actuarial methods and software engineering practices.

Key requirements:

• University degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science). A PhD is a strong plus.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, particularly in insurance and reinsurance, including underwriting, reserving, regulatory reporting, and solvency calculations.
• Strong understanding of programming paradigms.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and experience with MongoDB or similar databases.
• Business fluency in English; German (B1) is a plus.
