We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.We are currently looking for an HR Shared Service Specialist to join us at any of our facilities across EMEA (remote work is allowed).Key responsibilities:Support daily and long-term tactical employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, processing of compensation changes, transfers/talent movement, mobility, time-off and leave, and other responsibilities related to employee administration. Answer questions (e.g. policy, process, transaction, etc.), address issues, and effectively manage escalations as it relates to these areas.Serve as Subject Matter Expert providing guidance and direction to employees, HR Business Partners etc. on a wide variety of HR processes, policies and tools.Open, resolve and close cases through Workday Help; taking ownership of case to resolution, communicating with the case requestor through the process.Initiate and proactively monitor business processes in Workday to ensure conformance with policy and data integrity. Follow SLAs, escalate as appropriate, and ensure that business processes are closed in a timely manner.Take ownership of inquiries ensuring accurate, prompt and consistent resolution. Escalate or transition requests as needed to proper channels, ensure ‘warm’ handoff and exceptional employee experience.Ensure legal compliance by managing and implementing applicable policy and process revisions, supporting HR employment audits, and completing any required government reporting.Key requirements:4+ years of HR work experience, ideally with experience in Shared Services and process improvement, compliance (state/federal/country employment laws), employee lifecycle (pre-onboarding through off-boarding), and/or HRIS administrationGerman as a native level and Fluency in English highly preferred. If you speak a 3rd language would be highly valuable.Bachelor’s degree preferredWorkday experience strongly preferredExceptional attention to detail, highly organized, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple deadlinesResourceful problem-solver that can troubleshoot issues independently and drive impactful solutions with the ability to manage complex processesComfortable with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced global environmentExcellent written and spoken communication skillsSolid understanding of end-to-end HR processesEnsures compliance with all federal, state, and local lawsAxalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, which serve four end markets, including Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
