Your role
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for the acquisition, development and retention of new and existing A-End customers in Switzerland. One of your main goal will be to achieve Interxion's overall sales and revenue targets. You will operate autonomous but support your peers and the Sales Manager. The main internal contact’s you will have are with the EMEA sales department with International and local sales teams as well as with the Swiss Operation- and Marketing Teams. Your external contacts will be mainly with your customers but also partners and influencers. The remit of this position is to manage national- and international A-End accounts/prospects
Your profile
• Very sound knowledge of a specialized market segment within the ICT industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (on different levels)
• Experience in both local- and international Account Management
• Excellent negotiating skills, high contract closing ability
• Excellent solution sales skills and experience in sales tactics in complex organizations
• Customer focused
• Proactive and stress resilient
• Educated to Bachelor/Master level, preferably with specialization in a specific segment/market
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a consultative selling area, preferable in IT-, Telecom-, Cloud or Datacenter Services
• Broad business network and contact data base
• Good understanding of Microsoft office applications
• Good team-working skills
• Fluent in German and English (C1 level in both languages)
