Accountant

Accountant Overview We have an excellent opportunity for an Accountant to join an International business whose offices are based in Zurich. Main responsibilities

• Manage all areas of accounting, including accounts payable, receivables, banking, credit cards, intercompany and bank and vendor reconciliations.
• Dealing with multi-currency accounting and exchange rate adjustments.
• Preparation of periodic reports to the Swiss tax authorities - VAT, income tax, social security, etc.
• Participation in the preparation of local payroll accounting
• Process local and intercompany transactions.
• Perform periodic filings independently to Swiss tax authorities, including VAT, income tax, and social security.

Your profile

• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role within accounting, ideally within a multi-office group structure.
• A degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration will be a distinct advantege
• Fluent in English and ideally a good working knowledge of German
• Sound IT knowledge including Excel and ideally experience in using ERP software.
• Project Management skills
