Job Description - Application Support Specialist

Swiss AviationSoftware is a 100% subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik, and along with our partners in the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem, leads the digital transformation of the aviation industry in technical asset operation. As the developer of the world's leading software AMOS, Swiss-AS manages successfully maintenance, engineering and logistics requirements of modern airlines. To strengthen our position at the forefront of this global market, we are looking for dedicated employees who would like to work in a fascinating international environment with more than 200 customers worldwide.

 

Tasks

  • Offering first-level/second-level support to our customers
  • Answering cases submitted to Swiss-AS via the AMOS online support tool
  • Communicating with customers directly via e-mail or phone
  • Interacting with other departments to resolve and clarify the customer case and determine the cause of the problem
  • Selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the case
  • Ensure follow-up on customer cases



Skills

  • Be a team player, flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure
  • You are a highly motivated individual capable of working independently and taking ownership of tasks
  • You have excellent communication skills and can interact with people from various technical backgrounds and cultures
  • You are an expert troubleshooter with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively
  • Knowledge about the aviation industry and processes in aircraft maintenance
  • AMOS knowledge
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Desirable

  • Work experience as an AMOS Administrator is an advantage
  • Experience with the AMOS Financial Management module or a strong background in financial processes is an advantage.
  • SQL knowledge is an advantage
