This full-time, entry-level role involves performing basic architectural assignments and applying standard architectural techniques to small projects or segments of larger projects. The position includes tasks such as design layouts and features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development of design concepts and preliminary teasers
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans using standard techniques
- Support the production of construction documents under the guidance of senior architects
- Conduct site visits to gather information and verify conditions
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to support project goals
- Research building materials, products, and construction techniques to inform design decisions
- Ensure design compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and project
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong conceptual design skills
- Proficiency in architectural software such as ArchiCAD, V-Ray, Rhino, Lumion, and Adobe Suite
- Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and industry trends
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Professional degree in Architecture
- 0-2 years of professional experience in architectural design
- To ensure Swiss hiring regulations: EU/ EFTA nationality is mandatory (a residence permit is not enough)
