The Associate Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) Mass Spectrometry and Capillary Electrophoresis is responsible for:

  • Acting as trusted technical partner for customers by delivering high‑quality service interventions, proactively identifying optimization opportunities, and contributing to upselling, renewal, and long‑term customer retention
  • Driving continuous improvement by translating field insights into actionable feedback for service, sales, and technical teams, helping to enhance product quality, service efficiency, and customer experience
  • Taking ownership of complex technical issues from diagnosis to resolution, ensuring accurate documentation, timely reporting, and measurable improvements in operational performance and customer satisfaction

The position reports to the District Field Service Manager and is part of the Service Organization. The role will be fully remote to mainly cover the area of Swiss Romandie – Bern.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Autonomous planning, implementation and work organization of service operations (i.e. installation of new systems, maintenance, repairs or user training delivery) in active collaboration with our service, sales and technical support colleagues
  • Sustainable improvement of service delivery and increase of order volume with focus on increased Customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Timely report generation and systematic logging and reporting errors in customer data, taking over the appropriate services

The essential requirements of this job include:

  • Bachelor degree in the fields of electrical engineering, medical technology, physics, chemistry, science or apprenticeship with advanced degree as a state-certified technician.
  • Safe handling of the common EDP and first experience in a relevant field of application
  • Fluent French and English spoken and written
  • High willingness to travel (driver's license required) within assigned region
  • Candidates must already have a valid Swiss work permit to be considered for this role.
