As a successful applicant, you will join our Science and Research \\- Analytical Sciences group in Geneva. You will be involved in all practical and organizational aspects of a research purification laboratory dedicated to the delivery of innovative pure substances coming from our chemical synthesis and biotechnology research laboratories and intended for olfactive evaluation by our perfumers.\n\nYour Key Responsibilities:\n\n * Apply state-of-the-art purification methodologies to deliver substances with the appropriate level of purity from crude reaction mediums at milligram to gram scales\n * Independently plan and execute purification experiments based on operational instructions provided by the laboratory head\n * Deliver reliable samples on time\n * Manage workflows and data tracking in LIMS and ELN systems in a high-throughput environment\n * Identify technical issues and actively propose solutions\n * With the direct support of the laboratory head, implement and apply automation solutions, including digital workflows\n * Proactively manage the maintenance and troubleshooting of the laboratory and the instruments to ensure the continuity of the operations\n\n\n\nWe offer:\n\n * Being part of an interdisciplinary team of industry-leading researchers with state-of-the-art equipped research facility and in an international environment\n * A diversity of exciting projects related to food and fragrance products\n * Career development opportunities\n * To be part of a company shaping a strong legacy through breakthrough industrial innovations and technology\n\n\n\nYou bring:\n\n * Master in Organic or Analytical Chemistry with at least 3 years of professional experience in relation with chemical purification, or CFC or Bachelor with at least 10 years\u0027 experience in a relevant domain\n * Sound hands-on experience with separation techniques including related method development, both analytical and preparative (LC, SFC, GC, Flash, MS\u2026)\n * Experience with evaporation instrumentation (Rotavap, freeze-drying, flash chromatography, distillation, \u2026)\n * Solid theoretical background in separation science of small molecules (chromatography)\n * Digital saavy. Experience in automation would be a plus\n * Scientific rigor, strong problem solver attitude.and sound organizational skills are mandatory\n * We value creativity, open-mindedness, team spirit, and good communication skills\n * Fluent in French.
