Automated Warehouse Engineer

In this role, your primary responsibility for this position includes (but are not limited to):
• Align and trace the warehouse deliverables from the Oracle WMS User Requirements Specification
• Work with the implementation teams to drive completion of the deliverables, prioritizing per project prioritization and escalates obstacles
• Participate in the creation of the BES validation strategy together with the BES CSV & SOL Quality representatives
• Collaborate with other disciplines across the project to ensure overall coordination of the tasks and consistency in execution strategies
• Write & review ERP and Swisslog System documentation as defined by the project
• Participate in the creation & testing of software, troubleshoot and correct as needed
• Interface with customer groups on the project to ensure we are designing, executing, and delivering in accordance to Global Engineering Procedures and Biogen Execution Systems standards, including Quality, Facilities, Engineering, MS, MFG, and EHS&S

• At least 5 years of experience in an engineering/warehousing environment ideally within pharma/Biotech
• 5 years of IT related warehouse experience and/or training;
• Very good knowledge of Oracle WMS and Swisslog Solution
• Audit preparation experi

The automated Warehouse Engineer is responsible for the integration of Oracle WMS and the Swisslog Material Handling Automation (MHA) Solution. The Swisslog Solution will be implemented in the warehouse at Solothurn to enable the Start-up and Commissioning of Warehouse Material Movements of the Large-Scale Manufacturing Facility, Solothurn, Switzerland.
