Barista

Tasks

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, bar, seating area, and equipment
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
Restock ingredients, cups, milk, pastries, and supplies as needed
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
Support opening and closing procedures
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally
Monitor product quality and consistency throughout each shift

Requirements

Previous barista or café experience preferred
Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk steaming techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Attention to detail and cleanliness
