We are currently supporting an international financial services company in the search for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team based in Geneva. This generalist role offers broad exposure to HR operations allowing cross-functional collaboration.
Alongside with HR top management, you will assist in the implementation and improvement of human resources services administration activities for our European offices.
Your mission and contribution
- Oversee end-to-end HR administration including payroll responsibility and supervision, compensation process support, benefits, time and absence tracking, HR systems updates, audit preparation, labor law compliance and offboarding procedures
- Continuously support initiatives to reshape, improve, and optimize HR processes, tools, and systems by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance procedures, and implement industry best practices for greater operational effectiveness
- Ensure HR processes are aligned with local regulations and internal policies while identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance operations
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT) to ensure the smooth delivery of HR services
- Utilize HR data and analytics to produce insights and support decision-making processes
- Contribute to the implementation of HR initiatives that align with broader business goals and organizational culture
- Support vendor management activities, benefits administration, and the preparation of executive-level reporting
- Participate in regional HR projects and ensure consistent application of HR best practices across European offices
- Partner with HR top management and senior leaders to execute the HR strategies aligned with business goals, company culture, and growth plans
- 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong understanding of Swiss HR practices (payroll, labor, law,benefits, leave administration)
- Previous experience in a financial services or international corporate setting is strongly preferred
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities
- High level of proficiency with HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint for executive presentations
- Discreet and reliable, with a solid understanding of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Native-level fluency in English is required, along with professional fluency in French
- Occasional travel (up to 10%)
